That's hilarious!

I love the car that got smashed in.

Yes, I haven't seen that vid for a while! Does make me laugh!

It reminds me of when I was a kid, and a dead seal got washed up on Perranporth beach beside which I lived.

It was very smelly and after a few days it bloated up and inflated with all of the decomposing gasses inside. I remember me and some of the other kids were throwing rocks at it to try and burst it!

It's always good to have reminders that stupid isn't new.

I've seen this before, a few years back, but still funny. Did you notice that some hit the camera lens?

I've been on that same beach (near Florence, OR)! Fortunately, 'twas many years later.

A whale washed up once on the beach near my family's place in Rhode Island. I was living in Calif. at the time, so I missed it. I'm quite sure they didn't use explosives.

Wooo Hooo! More dead whale to blow up just appeared in the same basic area!:

It has been a long time! So the question is, did they learn, or will history repeat itself?!

Quote

According to federal law, it is illegal to tamper with, alter or dispose of a whale carcass.

So they did learn something...

Now let me see, tamper? - Don't tamper with unexploded whales!

Alter? Now just what bits are you going to alter? Make it look like something else?

Dispose of? Well officer, its like this, I buried it under the patio, after rescueing this Jonah bloke.

Well, looks like they learned:
"Asked if dynamite was one of the possibilities being considered, Havel burst out laughing, then answered, 'No.'"

As to my earlier point about time, the current guy has only been on the job for 15 years, so there's over a 20 year gap between the exploding whale and his first day on the job. All the same, the lesson has been learned.
