JB (not you, Jeff) deserves ten times the coverage GF is getting today. I have this urge to find the Eddie Murphy SNL skit "Hot Tub!" as a warped kinda tribute.
His legacy lives on with Maceo at the very least.
In merrier news, had lunch with Newbie Brad's God
today in Seattle.

He's in great spirits, looking forward to that new doubleneck. Fretless awareness is high at THD Electronics - my Matev seemed to pass muster.
Couldn't hook up with Tom Baker this eve for a local pint - I have to catch a boat back to Victoria BC tomorrow AM at an obscenely early hour and Tom gets out of rehearsal (for gig this weekend) too late. Next time I'm here I s'poze.

James is getting the better coverage in the UK, hardly a mention of Gerald.
Its like Mother Theresa and Princess Di, you can't plaster pics of Mother T on the front of magazines / newspapers ad nauseum for all eternity and still sell copy.

It's not the hybrid that I spotted so much as it's what's under its license plate which made me chuckle. ("D.Y.S.")
IF JB had some behaviour in common with Rick James then that certainly tempers my opinion of him.
The music stands on its own, anyway.

Very good, didn't catch that the first time round!
I take it there's some form of wife / woman beating involved here?
(Send him down, your honour)

Missed that he'd gone,
Where's the usual jokes and one liners that go around the internet like wildfire?
Hybrid cars are bollocks - there's arguements that they're even worse for the enviroment longterm because of battery disposal and total fantasy fuel consumption claims, whether this is true or not is someone else's argument....
my take on it is that the fuckers seem have found a way to sell you back your own conscience.....
meanwhile we still have plus temperatures up here, as we're lead to believe it's all caused by just traffic.....
</rant>
RIP James Brown,
How are you feeling now?

I just had to buy a battery for the car and it only runs on petrol. Fuckers.
I think James is lying in state at the Apollo, and there's a one liner in there somewhere.

Jeff, you dissapoint me. I would have thought a chap like you would have eschewed batteries for starting handles years ago!
BTW good joke Vince!
